A Brief Stop in Kobe

On the way home from Arima Onsen we stopped in Kobe. Little did we know that this weekend was the Kobe Festival! (Take that Osaka Expo!) There were parades and marching bands. Some of the parading groups were a bit strange, but hey.

We came across some kind of Taiko drumming show. It looked like some kind of contest between different school teams. They were all awesome. Super dynamic.

After all that excitement we went down to the port to inspect the maritime infrastructure,as you do.

Oh, and we also had steak :-)
